Verdict: Buy the 2020 Macbook Pro!
Hey, I was in the same boat as you are right now. Do I want the Macbook Pro or should I just get the Macbook Air? The specs are so close, but I am going to save $200 by going Air!
For $200 more you are getting an entire 1 GHz more in processing power with the Pro, 100nits of extra brightness, two extra thunderbolt ports, and a touch bar. I personally felt that was more than enough to justify the extra $200 for the Pro.
The configurations I was comparing were: i5 10th-generation, 16GB Ram, and 512GB Ram.
